The Mar Thoma Jubilee Centre was established in 1971 at Someshwarnagar near Wilson Garden to commemorate the silver jubilee of the Parish which was celebrated in 1970.

The centre runs a creche and day care centre for about 50 children from the surrounding areas, whose mothers are mostly working women from financially weaker section.
